As we hear your testimony of how you have been faithful to Christ, trusting in His full assurance,  we continue to pray that God would be glorified in these circumstances, through this deep valley.
God is true in His Promises, as we see blessings in your family. Continue to build a foundation on God's rock and you will have favor in His eyes. As we see it, Godfrey continues to exalt God's name and further His kingdom by how his life is rooted in God's Word. Be blessed and continue to be a blessing as you have been in our lives.

You are Loved.

Pastor Godfrey,

I like that man...always knew that would be your title some day.  Bro, i can't believe all this, but I can believe God bringing you through it all and how He has been teaching you, your family, and those around you more about Himself.   No one may know why this has happened or is happening, but everything happens for a reason and may God make it all evident to you, your wife, your family, your friends, your congregation, and anyone who may happen to come across knowledge of your situation.  We serve an awesome God, a powerful God, a providing God, a healing God, and a compassionate God.  The Lord hears your cries and those of your family and friends.  May God continue to minister to you and through you brother.  I sure do miss our times together...we had some wonderful years together...Chi-town forever, Jesus for life...and always remember to Bear Down my friend, Bear Down!  Miss you and praying for you and your family...much love always, The Hock!  Peace!

Praying that  Lord Almighty, Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost provide the provision, power and might ror Godfrey's restoration, recovery, healing and progression in the Body of Christ. He is  a pure servant of the Lord whose testimony is being used for the Lord's Will. The Lord is providing strength, resources, love and guidance to him and the family. Godfrey was very kind to me, when I first attended Woodbridge Community Church in 2009, his willingness to provide Christ hospitality for me, provided comfort during a time of great distress.  I am grateful to  the Christ's  love he gave me. The Lord is providing all that is needed through faith, direction and his perspective. Also, witnessed the Lord's love in his wife and baby girl at the time, his love is sustaining the soul of this family and the challenges being faced.

Ephesians  3:19 - To know his love that surpasses knowledge, that you may be fillied to the measure of all the fullness of the Lord.

I'm friends with Heather Amargo & am praying for you from Indiana.  I've been walking through a valley with my husband since January when he learned he has Chronic Kidney Disease.  I thought of you when I read this in my Bible Study this morning on Psalm 23.  "It is n the valley where we are brought into a close intimacy with Christ. David wrote, "He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul and He guides my path." But when David came to the valley, the He became a You." "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." The He becomes a You because God can become very personal in the valley."

Dear Pastor Godfrey and Ate Corinth and family,

I just want to let you know that you all are always in my prayers especially Pastor Godfrey.  I'm blessed to hear of God's hand is moving through the whole situation.  He has everything in control.  Pastor Godfrey is definitely loved by so many people, and there's no doubt in my mind that everyone is praying for him and for his family.  I just want to encourage you with this verse: Jeremiah 17: 7-8 "Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.  They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.  It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green.  It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
"  Even through these difficult times, Pastor Godfrey is still being used mightily to touch the lives of people through his testimony and through his family.  He "never fails to bear fruit".  Ate Corinth, you are so amazing.  Taking care of charissa and baby #2 and just taking care of yourself.  I know I can't say I know how you feel, but I can only imagine.  I'm praying for you!  I'm praying for Pastor Godfrey and that he'll be able to come back home soon. :)

Godfrey, I always think of you as the positive guy who knew all the answers in music theory class in college.  I never knew what a picardy third was until you yelled it out in class one day.  Now, I tell all my students about that so they can be the ones to yell that out and impress their classmates, like you did with us.  Our family's prayers are with you and your family, and we have faith that you will recover fully.  Your wife is one amazing lady!  Thanks for starting this website and letting us know how he's doing.

The first time I  met Godfrey was at my very first regen a few years back. He talked about his life and how it was being a pastor's kid and right there I started crying. It's hard being a pastor's kid and it felt great knowing that I was not alone. Godfrey inspired me to keep persuing God and to use my influence on others to do good!

Godfrey, Corinth, their family and the rest of the NFBC Community have been on my minds constantly since I first heard of the situation... Although I have been away I never have lost appreciation for the things I learned from Godfrey, both through his words as well as his actions. He is one of the most energetic, passionate people I have ever met, and I am a better person for having crossed paths with him.

I will be holding a volleyball tournament the evening of April 9th in Elgin where all the proceeds will be donated to this cause. Anyone that would like any information can feel to e-mail me at bpmcder@gmail.com.

Hoping for the best,

Bryan

My thoughts and prayers are with Godfrey and his family. I was in band with Godfrey at Elk Grove High School and remember him as always being upbeat and caring. I am so sorry to hear of his illness, and I will pray for him to get better. Good luck with the transfer to RIC - I hope it all works out. As a nurse, I have seen many patients overcome the odds and recover from devastating illness and injury. I hope Godfrey will too!

I am shocked to hear about Godfrey's condition.   But, our GOD is a huge, amazing, powerful, loving, caring, compassionate father and the ultimate healer.   I pray that God continues to use Godfrey here on Earth to further His kingdom.    He tells us in Isaiah, But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (NIV)

This may be a long journey for you, but set your eyes on Him.    I know we've never met and I only shared the hallways at EGHS with the Catanus boys, but I'll continue to lift up your family in prayer.   I pray that God heals Godfrey so his testimony will touch so many people.

I heard through Facebook about what happened to Godfrey and wanted to let you know he's in my thoughts and prayers.
I knew Godfrey in high school back at good old EGHS and I remember him being the kindest, sweetest, most gentle person I'd ever met.  I can see from your posts about him that he hasn't changed.
I'll pray for Godfrey's speedy recovery.

Dear Corinth & Godfrey James,
" God is Lord of the mountains & the valley. The most powerful life is lived in the valley not in the mountain top. God has ordained that valley as an altar of sacrifice, an opportunity for Him to work through your broken heart & life.Keep your glance in the valley & your gaze on the Shepherd!"We are praying for you!
